Expanded painting installation, natural inks on calico, pine, electric diffuser, brass jugs, 250cm x 350cm, 2021
This expanded painting installation is a space visitors can enter, sit underneath, walk around and touch. Immersed in a scent blend of turmeric and ginger oils and painted with natural inks, this installation is a metaphor for how 'jamu' concoctions traverse the female physiology.

How To: Women's Preservations & Its Recipes

This is a hand-bound book that features the material research around making the natural inks used in She Is My Vessel, I Am Hers. As an archive of paper swatches, dried specimen, botanical illustrations, and cloth swatches, this in itself is a visual recipe that pays homage to the quintessential recipe book in every home.
